Description

Deriva is a hanging lamp with direct and indirect LED light, an evolution of the ceiling light fixtures especially designed for FRAGILE's new location in the centre of Milan. It was designed by Alessandro Mendini for Fragile Edizioni on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2015. This numbered edition features a fluorescent orange lacquered metal body. Low voltage strip led light (90w total).

About Alessandro Mendini

Alessandro Mendini (Milan, August 16th 1931) is an Italian designer, architect and artist. He is one of the leading characters of post modernist design and he was for a long time chief editor of Casabella (1970 - 1975) and Domus (1980 - 1985) magazines. In 1989 he created along with his brother, Francesco, Atelier Mendini, a fruitful design and architectural studio.
